Social Worker

The Cardiac Transplant Social Worker is involved in the transplant evaluation process, including psychosocial assessment of the family’s emotional and financial status and their support systems, and also provides emotional support, counseling, education and identification of community resources for transplant families before and after the cardiac transplant.
