Physician Assistants

Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery physician assistants provide essential inpatient and outpatient services to patients here at The Heart Center at Primary Children's.

PAs are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine under the supervision of our cardiologists and surgeons. Their responsibilities include conducting physical exams, assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac illnesses, assisting in surgery, ordering and interpreting medical tests, writing prescriptions and providing counseling to patients and their families.

The physician assistants greatly extend the capacity of our cardiologists and surgeons to provide patients and their families with the highest quality care available.
