Transplant/Heart Failure Clinic
and the Heart Transplant Program

Transplant Clinic is designed to evaluate and follow patients undergoing heart transplantation. It is conducted by Charles (Chuck) Norlin, MD. Doctor Norlin is a pediatrician with special interest and expertise in pediatric diseases related to cardiac transplantation.

The transplant coordinators - Marian Shearrow, RN and Emily-Ann Bullock, RN form an integral part of the cardiac transplant team, as do the cardiothoracic surgeons involved in the cardiac transplant procedure.

Heart Failure Clinic

The Heart Failure Clinic manages patients with severe congestive cardiac failure, often secondary to heart muscle diseases (cardiomyopathy or myocarditis), and takes advantage of specific treatment protocols and expertise.
